Created in Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. The brief was to create an emergency information poster in the even of an earthquake in Portland, but the poster has been plastered with stickers and graffiti, as you’ll often find on Portland’s streets. The goal is for this to mark the locations of the scavenger hunt clues as well as to engage passers by in finding the other locations, if they’ve only happened upon this poster. It doubles as a sales device and links to the purchase website.
Fraction and company may well lead the charge for a sea-change in the industry, a change which, hopefully rather than supplanting the single issue as the storytelling unit, will merely challenge its hegemony.
